Hi Josh,
This is a great summary of what led up to the birth of the Reformation and the results of it today. The political and educational advancements that accompanied the Reformation are often overlooked. I am glad you pointed them out and how they moved our culture. Those advancements had an incredible impact on the spread of the gospel. I like how you pointed out that the concepts that stemmed from the Reformation are something that need constant reflection in our own lives.
In your last chapter, you pointed out the need for constant reform. I see that need as our culture is changing and getting more and more secularized. The church oftentimes bends to the culture around it. Just like in the 1600s, brave men stood for what is true and stood on the foundation of scripture and that is needed today.
