Hi Josh,

I agree with you that a key theological concept that the early church had to work through was their Christology. Understanding who Christ is, is critical to understanding who we are as Christians as well as the truth that is found in Scripture. I’m grateful that early Christians fought for what is true and established doctrines and Creeds that guide Christians today. As you said we are benefiting from 2,000 years of wonderful Christian thinkers. We have the privilege today to stand on the shoulders of giants, those Christians that came before us.
