Theology connects and intersects with real life in various ways. In one way, theology builds on a person’s character. It assists in establishing godly moral behaviors and is supplemental in growing spiritually. When our minds are fixated on God and the things of God, our subconscious thoughts and actions become natural byproducts of our mind’s fixation on God.
I also believe that theology helps give our lives meaning. The deeper I study the origin of creation, scripture, and the character of God and His dealings with mankind, the more immersed I am in a purpose-driven mentality and the more connected I feel in my relationship with the Lord.
