Melissa, I like that you addressed how theology provides purpose in a person’s life. I had not considered it from that standpoint. Today so many people do not feel or know their purpose, yet the Bible so clearly tells us we were created for purpose. This ties directly to your point of feeling security and peace. If you do not have purpose, then there is no peace or security. There is no anchor to ground yourself. Theology gives us everything we need to be grounded in Christ, our anchor in life’s storms. I especially liked your last sentence, “Rather than being crushed by life’s challenges, theology grounds the in hope that transcends present struggles.”
